DS4SEQ has only one policy; and that is:

To have Daylight Saving Time introduced into the South East Queensland region under a dual time zone arrangement.

The Party has no other policies and no other agenda.

When it comes to the issue of Daylight Saving, the people of South East Queensland have been ignored for too long, and a dual time zone must be implemented.

The DS4SEQ Party

The DS4SEQ Party was formed by everyday people, so that South East Queenslanders could be given a chance to vote on the issue of daylight saving.

DS4SEQ’s political objective is to convince the major parties to change their thinking in relation to the issue of Daylight Saving within Queensland, and seriously consider a dual time zone arrangement for 6 months of the year.  This would allow South East Queensland to adopt Daylight Saving Time during the summer months. 

Our website provides an explanation about the DS4SEQ Party, and contains information about Daylight Saving, the benefits that can be gained from its introduction into South East Queensland, and what DS4SEQ believe to be the most logical ‘solution’ for the State of Queensland – a dual time zone.  This is a proposal that would ensure the majority of ALL Queenslanders are satisfied, not just the minority.

Daylight Saving is a lifestyle and business choice, and one that the majority of South East Queenslanders would like to have.

DS4SEQ Membership
